A fun, family-oriented museum, the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center is dedicated to encouraging the exploration and understanding of science through hands-on exhibits and entertaining shows. The Hands On Hall and Minds On Hall incorporate the latest technologies and common scientific principles, creating dynamic exhibits and exploratory areas, while other areas like the Wharf of Wonder provide a suitable play area for children up to the age of five. Also featuring a full-size IMAX theater, the center is located right in downtown on the waterfront, beside the Museum of Mobile.
