The collection of art, items and artifacts at the Museum of Mobile serves to record, analyze and share the story of the people and events that have shaped life in the Mobile Bay area and southern Alabama. Exhibits span from displays on the lives of indigenous Native American tribes to 19th century decorations and furnishings to past natural disasters that have affected the area. Housed within an Italianate building from 1857 that was once city hall, the museum is beside the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center.
Open Mon. - Sat. 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Sun. 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $5; Seniors $4; Students $3; Children under 6 are free.
